Hi! My case starts with IOE and have yet to receive a transfer notice. I was told by the rep my case was transferred Feb. 23 and if I don't receive a notice within 30 days from that date to contact USCIS again.

Just an FYI : My app was received Aug 16, 2019 and received the receipt notice August 22, 2019. Our case was originally at Nebraska now we have been transferred to Vermont.

Thx for sharing.

I guess IOE applicants are no more receiving transfer notices based on my limited observation. That’s why I asked this question to members. USCIS processing IOE applicants in a different fashion. I am seeing applicants getting approvals in shorter time as compared to processing times mentioned on their website.

Lets hope these case transfers will bring good news for all of us.

Although my application has been sent from Texas to Vermont service center still I believe that i won’t have to face a longer wait as a result of being transferred.

Find below two recent I-130 approved cases from Vermont as per Igor’s list. As we all know that Nebraska processing time is 12-16 months as compared to Vermont 16-20 months for I-130 case for US citizens. These two cases approved in around 12 months as per Nebraska timelines even after transferring to Vermont. In fact transfer to Vermont speed us their approval. Look at their transfer date and NOA2 approval date.

E&N

NOA1- April 4, 2019

NOA2- March 13, 2020

Transfer date 10 Feb, 2020

Emily& Graham

NOA1- March 21, 2019

NOA2- March 13, 2020

Transfer date 25 Feb, 2020

One more member got their I-130 approval today after case transfer from NSC to VSC. Lets hope for the best.

Tesco&Bird

NOA1- June 19, 2019

NOA2- March 17, 2020

Transfer date Feb 3, 2020 (Nebraska to Vermont)

Thx for sharing. I am also IOE. My case also transferred from TSC to VSC without any notification.

We are in the same situation!

Last night, I noticed the "case status" date on myUSCIS change for us and I decided to chat with Emma. I didn't find out anything about the date change but I was told our case was transferred from TSC to VSC a while back. They told me to call and confirm.  This morning I called and had it confirmed that our case has been transferred almost a month ago (2/23/20). I was told to keep checking processing times for VSC on the website and that our case is currently under review. I wasn't notified and probably would not have known if I hadn't done the chat.

Not sure if I should be feeling optimistic or down about this change as (according to USCIS processing times) TSC approval is 6.5-8.5 month wait and VSC is 15.5-20 months. However, on VJ the processing times are looking VERY different for VSC and gives me some hope as they are ~ end of September and we are early December!

Well one thing is crystal clear that TSC is fastest service center with 6.5-8.5 months processing time. People are getting approved quickly. No one is happy with case transfer from a fastest service center to slowest one. Moreover I don’t find enough applicants when it comes to VSC. In my opinion, VJ processing time for VSC is not accurate because they dont have enough data.

However, I have observed and shared I-130 approvals of handful applicants after transferring from NSC to VSC. They approved within 45 days after transfer to VSC. This reshuffle speed up their approval. I am so happy for them. But they were waiting action from almost 1 year at NSC. Their situation was very different so we cannot expect same pattern in our cases.

One more thing that IOE applicants tend to have fastest processing.  Lets hope nobody will face a longer wait as a result of being transferred.

Hello, I was part of the first transfers back in Jan 22. It’s been 56 days I have still not heard anything. However, I have seen some other cases approved. I have called and yes I was told it will take 45 days for decision once an officer has it. But again, there is no set plan of who goes first etc. I was transferred from Nebraska Jan 22, 2020 and submitted my paperwork PD 2-15-2019.

Hello! We also haven't heard of it yet. NOA1 from 2-15-2019 and transferred Jan 22nd. I am currently checking on that case tracker app too and there is no i130 around our number with a decision. It also stresses us a lot seeing plenty of people getting approved from march and june while we stand still. :(

Hello guys,

A lot of blessings and good energy for you all. Any updates from the group transferred on February 11 from Nebraska to Vermont? anyone from Colombia going through the same situation?

We are very worried about the delay. We received our noa1 on march 18/2019 and got transferred 41 days ago. If somebody knows something please share.

Stay safe.

Hello, I’m not from Colombia but I was transferred from Nebraska To Vermont on Jan 22, 2020 and my first NOA1 was 2-15-2019. I have yet to hear anything. However, I noticed that some cases from June, April are given answers. There is really no set who goes first and who does not. So, good luck. And hope you are safe!
