Hmmm....I just checked my uscis account and I used to have a last touch date from May but now that's gone and there is only a general message that says we have received your case and are reviewing. Has anyone encountered the same?? What happened to that May update???

Same here. I read on a Facebook group that's a glitch. Also, some people say it's a new format. I now have three tabs -  case status, case history and documents; There's no info in the case history tab though.

E-filed I-130 for my husband with priority date of 7/29/2020. Originally processing center was Nebraska, so we were expecting to move to the next step of the I-130 process within the next few months, then I discovered today we were transferred to Vermont.

Didn't receive notice that we were transferred so not sure when it happened, but I'm really bummed by the long wait. Can't believe it could take up to 30 months just to process our I-130. We're already married, living together in Japan (he's Japanese citizen) - low number of visa applications and even lower visa fraud from JP to begin with, really hard to believe it could take over 3 years just to get his GC :(

Nebraska / Transferred to Vermont in February / Transferred to Texas but still process by Vermont for some reason

Requested 'Outside of Normal Processing Time' on 9/16th, received email on 9/30 saying they had high volume of petitions but we were in line for review.

Approved: 10/2/20

Was the "outside of normal processing times" based on Texas dates? Because Vermont says it's currently processing cases from 2018...I just got transferred to VT from TX and have no idea (removed) is going on.

Honestly these transfers make no sense. On their website it says 'If we transfer your case, we will send you a transfer notice. Your receipt number will not change, and the transfer will not delay the processing of your case.'

But obviously it's significantly increasing the wait time. I would tell the CSR at uscis to create a ticket for you that you can fill out and put these quotes as evidence.

Same here. I contacted USCIS back in September they told me it was transferred to field office. Then, I called them again a couple of weeks ago and this time they told me it was back in Vermont and not in field office anymore. It's so confusing and frustrating.

Hi  yes it's so frustrating our case is still in field office since May 8 no info and when we try to make a inquiry on line last week it didn't let me, saying our case is not out of processing time so we can't put it bc VT is processing 2018 cases.😠 Does anyone have same experience if not then how were you able to put inquiry??🤔

I tried to put an inquiry but got a generic reply saying that my case was still within normal Vermont processing time.  For your case, is the beneficiary in the US? Because they normally transfer  I130 to field office for interview. Let's hope we hear something soon.

No beneficiary is in abroad I also wonder why they send our case to field office then ??🤔 Is anyone else experiencing the same?

My husband is in the US. He has an administratively closed case with immigration court that's need to terminate before filing I485, so a transfer to local field office could mean an interview for us. Otherwise, I've read that transfers to local field offices are part of normal routine processing.🤔
