February 4th 2020 our case was transferred to vermont service center from nebraska. I recieved the notice that said it was transferred to speed up processing. Im anxious to meet more people who are going through this same journey. Good luck to all of us

I don’t think it takes 21-27 months

take a look here https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=2&option=3&sortby=2

these are cases transferred to Vermont and many of them are getting approved in 3-8 months. Perhaps getting transferred to Vermont speeds up things even more.

That’s what it says on the USCIS website for processing times for Vermont. Which I think would be more accurate since it’s straight from the source but I hope you are right and it’s less time! When did you file and have you heard back?

I called and made a service request 7/29/2020 because my lawyer had mentioned our case was out of processing time due to it being in Nebraska first. The service request response was that our case was pending consideration with an officer, that we should receive notice or a decision soon. We are still waiting

I told them that i would like to put in a service request because my case was outside of processing time. To be honest i think it was a tier one officer i do not know the difference but he seemed more experienced then the regular employees you get when you call . I hope you do as well. Good Luck !!

Oh okay! So do we go by processing times for our original service center when doing the service request? Because mine was texas and was transferred to Vermont. Texas is 7-10 months and vermont is 21-27 months.  Also, how many months has it been for you since PD?
