Hi folks, I've been viewing for a while but the frustration and fury is finally getting to me so I decided to join. My case transferred as per Emma on Feb 23 to VSC from TSC. We didn't get a notice either :(  and have been waiting since then. PD is 10/29/19. Contacted Emma again to ask where our case is and the rep said "After further research, it appears you will need to speak with a higher level representative to verify the location of the case" and they immediately disconnected frm the live chat. Sooooo presently freaking out ....what does that mean? Is that normal? What's the best way to find out more info from a higher level rep??

I feel you. Similar thing happened here. It's been almost 14 months now. No updates whatsoever. The case is still awaiting jurisdiction at vermont.

You keep bringing up your country or religion as determining factor for USCIS which is not the case.  The totality of circumstances are looked at when making the decisions, not the religion or beneficiary’s country.

Yes, 14 months. I did get a transfer notice though which confirms the change in jurisdiction of my case from Texas to Vermont. Vermont is the slowest center of all, hence the long time. Not sure if the processing times would be this long for those who did not receive a transfer notice.

I wouldn't think getting (or not thereof) a transfer notice impacts the process times.
I was told that I should go by the Vermont timelines, even though, USCIS states that, "Transfers, will not delay the processing of your case.."

I am learning though, that USCIS is largely unpredictable, and Patience is key to staying sane through the process.

All the best to you and yours!

P/S: I shall be following your timeline.. Rooting for you!

I agree, USCIS is quite spontaneous. Nothing much can be done apart from being patient. Thank you for your kind words. Hope things go fast and smooth for you too and everyone who is waiting for an approval.

Doubt it.
I’m from Canada, and transferred to Vermont in the Spring from Nebraska.

Even though the website says transfers don’t delay your case, the rep I spoke to told me that whatever office you’re currently at, you follow that timeline :(
