what makes it a difficult case?

your timeline shows you married in 2011 and applied CR1 in 2012

but in late 2019 you post not married yet and need to go marry and wanted to know how to stay together in  a hotel together (as not married)

so, this is messed up and not sure a lawyer can help

My apologies. My timeline needs to be deleted. I am now divorced. My question was in general. If I were to go through this process again, I wish to be prepared. I know of others in a similar situation. My husband never came to the states and we divorced prior to knowing the results. I am sure this would have been a question asked.

I simply was seeking input regarding lawyers who may have input and guidance similar to Marc.

I will correct the timeline issue.

As for the hotel, I asked this question for my friend.

Quite a few people have used Jim Hacking. I had a consultation with him that was very helpful for our situation, but at this time we don't need to pursue anything.

From what you have said, I wouldn't think you necessarily would need to use a lawyer. Jim can offer advise with a consultation though.

Yes you can apply again for a different person.  Be prepared to be asked what happened in your previous marriage, and make sure your new husband knows everything that happened.

I too filed years ago for my former husband, and cancelled the petition & asked for visa not to be issued. .   It was asked of me why, but never asked my current husband.

Have lots of evidence of a true relationship, as Morocco is a hard country to be from to obtain a visa.
