Hi Everyone,

So I tried to send an expedite request to NVC as initially I sent the death certificate of my late husband last Dec15,2019 but still no feedback.

I sent my request last Feb5,2020. Shall expect their before feb14? are they going to respond whether the expedite is approved or not?

Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. But Since you just sent your request not too long ago, you might have to wait for the weekend to surpass.

Hello, yes they cannot expedite it as they says my case will most likely go back to uscis for reinstatement. I have fellow widows who have the same case as mine with pending CR1.

They just file new I-360 and so far they got their visas already. Im thinking of doing the same if no update yet from nvc after 2mos.

That's awesome! Congrats. I sent my request back on February 3rd and didn't receive a response until February 11th. Currently, just waiting on the U.S. Consulate in Juarez to approve my request, which is taking a very long time. May I ask when you sent your request, I would really appreciate it.

On which basis u requested an expedite?

Medically related. I requested it like four days after USCIS sent my petition to NVC and, shortly after, NVC created a case for me, which I thought was super fast.
