Dear god, is that trend still around? I thought it had already gone out of style. Pretty sad when they have to make a law telling you not to do something stupid.

Does this include girls wearing lo rise jeans and still wearing their thongs at the usual height? man I hate that.

It's still very much around where I live in California. And the girls wearing the lo-rise jeans. I'll be honest and tell ya that a lot of the younger girls and ladies I see here shouldn't be wearing those. The waist size is too small!

logo_200.jpg

You can see why we call them "muffin tops". ;)

HAHAHA omg!

Ok I don't wear lo rise jeans or anything, but some of my pants do that to my tummy still. It's not that they are too tight, it's just the way my belly is all flabby (I'm working on it! ;)) but sheesh!!! At least I have the decency to cover up and hide the bulge!!! If being a muffin top is what's hot right now, I could be Miles Davis! </ billymadison>

Legislating attire? Clearly, they have more important things to worry about in LA.

Saggy pants have actually been the police departments friend from time to time. I've read a while back that in a number of cases, the sagging pants made it all bt impossible for thugs to run from the cops. :P

I have a flat tummy (well most of the time :P ) and still I don't think it's appropriate anymore for someone my age to be showing it, unless i'm at the beach or something.

I think it's disgusting those girls showing their muffin belly. Get a grip. When I'm overweight I don't even wear tight tops, no way in he!! i'd show my belly.

If they want show parts of their body because they're hot it's understandable, otherwise cover it!

Low rise jeans and a tramp stamp is even worse. Add a thong into the mix and TA DA!

lol I have a tramp stamp, I got it before I knew people were calling them that :( still, I don't wear the low cut jeans. The only people who see my KISSCHICK tattoo are the people I purposely show it to ;) looking at me you would never know I have 4 tattoos and 2 piercings until I show you

With the crotch around the knees that's probably true!

So if its illegal to wear your trousers a certain way - I wonder how the authorities would feel about full-body lycra-spandex bodysuits.

I just googled tramp stamp, didn't know what that was. I have one, btw. It's interesting how americans will label you that because of a body art. I'd never go through this kind of prejudice in Brazil.

Yuck! I see that at the gym I go to workout. All I can do is look away in hopes that I don't make eye contact to some of those booties that don those outfits! I really fear the rear that's in those bodysuits! I have nightmares of one of those ladies giving me a Hulk Hogan leg drop!

You can imagine the amount of power behind the move!

I bet there'd be follow-up legislation to fine people for wearing clothes in a way that highlights the "natural" curves of the human body. Pretty soon women would only be able to wear house-dresses and the men would have to wear trousers that can't show more than a 1/2" of ankle and which go all the way up to the waist. Everyone would be shopping at thrift stores for old-man clothes.
