Issues uploading Civil documents here. Affidavit of Support (AOS) Documents seems to work just fine!

How many days of trying did it take you guys?

Timeline

I didn't have any errors while uploading docs over several days, and now with just 2 documents to go, I can't upload the most recent (required) tax return/transcript. But AOS form did upload right after. Went back to try the tax return again, and still the security exception. I thought I lucked out but nope; caught up to me too. I also got the same error when trying to log in at one point, but went through a minute later. For the upload error, changing browsers and playing with settings doesn't help so far.

It only took me a day.

Aww man that sucks. Sorry. Just keep trying that’s all you can do for now.

It eventually worked for me. Basically the next day after I posted it here. Maybe try again tomorrow.

For me it was the next day and it worked fine. Just trying giving it a break for today and try again tomorrow. It was frustrating for me as well. So don’t worry, it will eventually work. Good luck!

I have had the same issue over a month now. I tried several time daily different times during the day and night. Called and the rep had the same issue. Was told to put in an inquiry and submit about 4 or 5 of those. All I get is this generic  message about my doc size. But that wasnt the complaint  regarding  my error. All my docs are compliant.  I am frustrated how they are handling this and I keep getting messages that your filing will expire in a year. Its as if they are doing it on purpose to collect more money from us and cause us to repeat the process. I get no where  with the people on the phone. If they are having issue they should post it like they did when there was issues making payments.  I was hoping my husband would be hear before our anniversary. 

P.S.

I get the error when I click on my name, documents, or the incomplete hyperlink. But it allows me to click on my spouse, joint sponsors and upload their doc. But for me the petitioner, error.

I’m sorry you are dealing with all this.😞 Have you tried using another browser? If so, then try clearing your cache for each browser and try again. See if that helps..

I've tried all of that including different devices and even tried from out of state on someone else's computer.  I get either application error or security exception errors each time.

Not sure what else to suggest. 😞 Unfortunately for now, I would say keep trying. Don’t give up. I know it’s easy for me to say since mine worked but, since they can’t seem to give you any advice I would keep trying as long as you can. 
 

Even if your application expires (Which I hope it doesn’t get that far) you will have a paper trail of communication with them detailing your issues. So hopefully they don’t charge you or have you submit all over again!
