Hi Everyone,

Filling out the I130 online, it is asking if my spouse has EVER been in the US. When putting yes (as she visited me often from Canada before we moved to Canada), it prompts me to enter the beneficiarys class of admission and information on it which she didn't have, as a Canadian she would just visit.  There is no drop down option for visitor,  or Visa Waiver, or nothing.

Since its all in Caps asking EVER,  I'm assuming that this means even to visit.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Quick question!  Filling out the forms when its asking what dates did you live together / and the question about work - on the TO field, what do we put if its current, and no end date?  It wont give the option to leave it blank, to submit online.

Put down N/A in 46.a. - 46.d. if they are not currently in the US.

If they are currently temporarily in the US, visa waiver class is classified as “WT/WB” officially in admittance stamps and by CBP.

Thank you. Ill put the N/A.

We both currently live in Canada. But when we visit my family we never need travel documents for her other than her passport which doesn't get stamped.

Thanks.

Canadians are not part of the visa waiver program. We are part of the visa exempt program.   There is a difference.

I would enter visitor/visa exempt

Thanks.

Technically we enter on a B2 but we're visa except because we don't need to apply for one.  I've had my visa stamped with B2 before moving and my kid's visa is frequently stamped since she travels alone.

Lots of stamping when traveling by air from Canada but over land, never unless you park, go in and ask for it.
