Hi,

We submitted docs near the end of October to NVC. All of my AOS docs were approved by 15Nov. All of the civil docs with the exception of the marriage docs were approved on 15Nov.

The marriage docs were originally rejected because we submitted the marriage certificate but not the Nikah (secondary document), which is required if married in Pakistan. We uploaded the Nikah immediately on 15Nov. The document was reviewed and rejected again on 13Jan. This time I believe it was rejected because only English translation of the Nikah was uploaded. We did not upload the original in Urdu. We immediately uploaded on 13Jan and resubmitted.

After uploading on 13Jan, we noticed that the upload date did not change. It still shows 15Nov. Is this a concern?

Any idea how long it will take them to review the resubmitted marriage cert?

Thanks,

Bilal
