I am writing  on behalf of friend of mine (he's  freaking out ) ,long story short he got 2 years green card and then 10 years GC all through marriage ,he still married same women  , he applied for citizenship 3 years rule (after that  they both start having problem (couple problem ) , they both decided to live separately  for 8 month  and see what going to happen he then withdraw his application the USCIS  apply by doing so , now they decide to divorce but last week  his wife got visit  from USCIS  agent asking couple question about him why not living together  she said we going thought separation and divorce  then they left , now he's confused  why after withrewing his application they got the visit ? and if he's in trouble even tho he got his 10 years legally and were living together  , and in the future he will have problem applying under 5 years rule with divorce decree , does he need to contact a lawyer now and ask him why this happen now ? thank you guys

Much better to contact a Lawyer than ask a friend not familiar with the issues.
