Greeting ...... Hello .. this is my first post after I registered as vj members.

We have been married 6 years and my husband is usc. Our marriage date was earlier than his divorce decree date, but we had renewed our marriage date last year.

My husband is preparing to file I-130 and I-129f. Will it be a problem with our renewal marriage date? or should we remarry?

Thank you for listening and any suggestions? or any vj members have similar story? Im sorry my english is bad :(

Warm regards, ibu kayu

Welcome to VJ  One of the requirements of the visa is to be legally able to marry. If you have an official marriage certificate that is after the divorce final you should be ok. Good luck

Generally a marriage before a divorice is final would be considered invalid. So as long as you have married again after the divorce and you have a marriage certificate showing that, you should be fine.
