hello to everyone

i have 2 questions i want to make sure of :

1- what form a CO-SPONSOR has to fill out for me and if it's I-864 does he/she have to complete the whole I864 OR JUST part of it?

2-what if a co sponsor has already filing for her fiance so is it possible to co-sponsor me?

THANKS

You never responded to me in your other post. What is your wife's salary before tax?

A co-sponsor fills out the same I-1864 and checks "joint sponsor". If their income meets the requirement for their household (which will include you), then they don't have to fill out the assests pages.

As long as the co-sponsor makes enough money for their household, it's fine as far as I know. Their household number should include theirself, their fiance, you, and any other dependants. If they live with someone who is not dependant on them, like a roommate, they don't count them in the household total unless that person wants to include their income and fill out a I-1864A.

hi MargotDarko

thank you so much for being interested in this case...just i haven't yet talked the wife about that point aftrer or before...

what i can say here is that her annual income for 2006 reaches 15,162.96 and has been woring for 5 yeas so far with a company and gets 10.75 dollars an hour besides her 401k = 8,000.00 . i hope this information is clear enough and hope we hear a response if all this things are enough or not to meet the requirments

hi MargotDarko.....i think i understand what you mean by before and after .......it means is that ammount is after the government takes off taxes or before the gov takes taxes off ! am i right ?

TAKE CARE

Yes, before means the salary before taxes. That is the amount, your wife needs to put on the I-864. You need to clear the salary/wage issue with your wife. You keep saying, she has made $15,162.96 per year and also her hourly wage is $10.50 or $10.75. So Either she has made $15,162.96 before taxes or she makes $10.50/$10.75. Both can not be true. Again, your wife can answer it for you, we can not. When you can an answer from her, write here.

MarkorDarko answered your co sponsor question very well.

I think he's going to keep asking this same question until someone tells him that the amount is adequate, however misdirected that may be. It won't be the first time that a poster will only accept the answer he wants to hear.

I fully expect a new thread with the same content to be started again within the next 24 hours.

That person can sponsor you as long as he/she is "financially able to"

HI simple_male

It looks i am late answering your question yet i have just got those information.

for my wife , she made 15.162.98 before taxes last year and her hourly wage for last year $ 10.50 . what do you think then ?

Thnaks again

I still think what I thought before. Both could not take place at the same time. If she had made

$15,162.98 for last year, then her hourly wage was for last year: $7.29 ($15,162.98/2080). Again, I am not clear, I am sure, MargotDarko would agree with me. For now, if she made $15,162.98 for the last year, you should consider that amount for 2006. Her current salary would be whatever her current hourly wage times 2080. Again, information that you are providing is not helping us to answer you.

hanout,

I think she worked for only 36 weeks, just over 8 months, at this job. Or she worked part-time (less than 40 hours per week).

Is she working full-time (40 hours per week) or not, at the present time?

hanout,

I suspect that the problem resides with an inability of you and the VJers who are trying to help you to communicate clearly with each other.

If your wife is earning $10.75 per hour, and is working full-time, then her current annual income is $22,360.

hanout,

1. A Joint Sponsor would fill out an I-864, all parts of the I-864 that are appropriate to their financial situation. A Household Member would fill out an I-864A jointly with your wife, and your wife would include the Household Member's financial information with her own on her (your wife's) I-864.

2. Yes, a person can sponsor, or jointly sponsor, more than 1 immigrant if they have sufficient financial resources.
