So I just check the CEAC and it says that the case was update February 22, on a Saturday. Now, I know they don't work weekends... Does anyone know why it would be updated on a weekend?

interesting, mine was updated today the 24th just after i got an email from them responding to the email i have sent them a few days back. at least we know they are touching our case.

Yes, I am happy to know that too, but the status has not changed. Just strange that it was updated on the weekend.

i did my research and many people have confirm that they get updates during weekends and even approvals. this is good to know.

I have a question. Just had my interview in Canada on Feb. 18. I knew then that I needed to send in my police clearance but the notice on CEAC says they will let me know if they need me to send something. So I’m not sure where to send it to and when? Do I wait until they ask for it or send it now?

Hopefully he’ll have his visa by the end of the week. Did you sign up for DHL for notifications and delivery/pickup? Do not buy a plane tix until it’s in hand. You also should pay the visa fee to get the card in production once he enters the US. Remember the next phase will be ROC so start researching and preparing. And also think abt ways to help him get acclimated once he gets here, it will def be a culture shock. I think that’s key to a successful marriage. Irie vibes.

Yes, we are signed up for the DHL tracking. We also agreed to not purchase the ticket until visa is in hand. What is the Visa Fee and what is ROC? What are somethings I can do to help him get acclimated once he is here?
