Does anyone know if I can get 10years green card like in my case?
My interview was scheduled in March but it is just one month before our 2 years marriage anniversary in April.
My initial application got denied, so this is the second chance. I paid double and for also my son even I don’t have EAD yet, so I really hoped I could get 10 years green card after our 2years marriage anniversary.

Any response will be appreciated.
thank you.

If your interview is successful, you will be approved right away and get an i-551 stamp on your passport (or approved within the next few days). If your AOS case is approved before your 2 year marriage anniversary, you'll get a 2-year green card. If after, you'll get a 10-year green card.

When you're at the interview, you can mention your anniversary to the CO and ask if they can hold off on thr approval for a month.  I would wait until thry actually say youre approved first.

I would also get a feel of the person before dropping that one, it might not get appreciated.

You may get lucky during the interview and get asked for something you didn't bring. That should get you those 4 weeks.

Is the date of issued the exact date of interview?

I was thinking about that if I didn’t bring documents such as I-693 or something of prove of marriage. I-693 should be brought though.

In our case the green card has an issue date that was that of the interview date despite having an official approval date about ten days later.

So if that holds true for you, then you will be getting a two year green card.

I wouldn’t do that and can’t reschedule easily unless me or my husband have to be in hospital with serious illness...
