filing N 400 online 1 day early in 2020

The IO, for the AOS stated do NOT file even a day early, they will deny your package and keep the money with a thank you.   At any rate, when she applies for her ROC,  we can wait 24 or 48 hours, as since it takes a year to get anything done, a day or two won't much matter.

 

I guess I was lucky I think that is for all who applies Via Paper not online. 

 

01/14/2020 - filed N400 Miami FL

01/18/2020 - NOA Biometric scheduled 

02/05/2020 - Biometrics done 

03/13/2020 - Interview scheduled - canceled due Covid19

08/19/2020 - Interview 

08/27/2020 - OATH Ceremony MIAMI FL 

Done with USCIS  !!!! Good luck everyone!

Timeline

Just a minor update

 

Went for bio, and spoke to the lady working there. she was as chocked as I was about the timezone being Hawaii.  There's only one officer at that field office, and she said he was booked all day + it would be at least 2-3 hours before I'd even MAYBE have a chance to talk to him.

So I figured I'd wait for my interview. (as they're processing much faster now than in 2018 /19)

 

Bottom line, she was as surprised as me to hear that the system uses Hawaii, of all time-zones, and NOT something more common.
