I also sent in an expedite request. No response. I called NVC and I was told that NVC doesn't look at expedite requests at all. They just do the paperwork review in order of receipt and then forward the expedite request for the embassy to make a decision. 

So idk what the truth is at this point. 

 

Has anyone had any luck getting your senator involved?

Did u also use local congress office?

Just heard back from NVC, from beginning to end, it took them approximately four weeks to respond with an answer.

Timeline:

02/03/2020 - Sent Request

02/11/2020 - Received Acknowledgement

02/25/2020 - Received Answer

1/02/15 Married to a USC

2/20/15 Traveled to Mexico via air with I-131 DACA

2/23/15 Returned/Paroled to USA via air

3/11/15 Sent I-485, I-130, and I-131

3/12/15 Received by USCIS according to USPS

3/21/15 Received I-797C for all applications

3/28/15 Received Biometrics Appointment

3/30/15 Walked-In to Biometrics

6/2/15 AP Document Approved (Day 82)

9/4/15 Received Interview Notice for 10/8/2015 (Day 175)

10/08/15 Approved

Yes, they are willing to expedite once all fees and docs have been submitted. 

1/02/15 Married to a USC

I made an expedite request on 02/18/2020, and I haven’t heard anything from them yet. When I called NVC, they said they can’t verify if they actually received it or not since expedite requests are handle by different department. The operator told me they usually have 3 days window to reply.

 

should I just wait a few more days? Or send another expedite request?

We just got approved with our NVC expedite. Now it shows that our case is in Manila Embassy.

People say we need to schedule our own interview. How do I do that?
