hi. i have b1 visa and applied 4 months back for adjustment of status for green card because im married to a U.S citizen. So, until yet only biometric done and as i am allowed to stay 6 months only in US beacuse of my B1/B2 visa. Can some one suggest me that should i stay here or go back before 6 months ends? And please let me know can i contact any lawyer over here or any other website for free consultation?

If you have your noa1 for AOS you’re now in a period of authorised stay. So no, you don’t have to leave... you can leave if you like but will not be permitted to return unless you have AP..

 

i wouldnt recommend leaving without AP or you’ll have to start over and apply CR1 from your home country.

Now a US citizen!
