Hi guys,

First of all I would like to thank you for all of your information. Currently, I checked my uscis account and saw things changed. My estimate completion time is in June 2021 but my estimated wait time is 20 days from now on. The time frame is really confusing so I wonder if this is the error of the website or what it means? Has anyone experienced this?

thank you

My estimated completion time showed June 2021 and as I have posted I just got the letter with the invitation for my oath ceremony one week from now. And two weeks ago it said completion time August 2012... and wait times showed different amounts of months.
So yes, I do think the time frames are messed up.

Hi everyone! This morning I got an email stating there was action taken on my case.  Unfortunately the website is down, so I can’t view it through there. However, I have the app download it and it stated my interview was schedule and I had been mailed a notice. I don’t yet know when my interview is, as the website does not work at this time. But I’d imagine it’s late February/early March.

I’ll update the spreadsheet when I have more info. Now time to prepare.

Have a good weekend everyone!

As far as I know, the date won’t show on the website, it’s only in the letter you will receive.
I received mine 6 days after I got the notice that they had sent it.
good luck!

Got it! Thanks for the info. How long after you received the notification was your interview scheduled for?

Congratulations! In a few days you should be able to view your appointment date online. Husband’s interview was scheduled exactly one month from date of notice. So online on January 8 he received a notice his interview was scheduled and it wasn’t until a few days later it stated the interview was February 8. He did not receive the letterIn the mail until about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks later.

Hi everyone!

I had my 5 year interview at the Chicago office on 01/28, unfortunately the officer told me it's looking like it will be **months** before I'm even scheduled for an oath ceremony; now I understand why my estimated completion time says August 2021... However, immediately after the interview my status online changed to "placed in line." Fingers crossed!

Congratulations! Hopefully it is sooner than August. I was hoping there would be many oath ceremonies the same day as interview like we’ve seen in the past few months but it seems like those may have stalled.

So yes, I do think the time frames are messed up.

They are... when we got notification that my spouse was scheduled for "the" interview, it instantly added 11 months to the Completion Estimate...

You certainly may! I received an email at 3:30 pm Central Time on January 22 notifying us of "recent processing action". I needed to log into the USCIS account to see what the "action" was - still haven't received a hard copy of the appointment notice, but an image of it was posted as a document in the account a couple days afterward showing the date, time, and location of the interview appointment.

Received the hard copy of the Interview Notice in the mail this afternoon: 8 days, interview is in just over 3 weeks. Excited to be near the Finish Line!

good luck!

The letter usually shows up a day or two after you get the notification. Then you can view the letter online, which has the date and everything. You actually get (that same hard copy) letter in the mail a week or so later.

Hello fellow Feb-2020 filers!

We are in Feb-2021 (its been a year already? 😲) and while some already had their interview and oath, quite a few are still waiting for their interviews (myself included - my interview is in 10 days) and/or oath. So, here's hoping that we get to see some progress and case updates this month and complete our immigration journey soon.

Good luck 🤞

Some people like yourself fell in the "not usual" category then. The majority of us got it electronically first then in the mail. That's USCIS for you.

USUALLY people got email notifications or texts notifying them of an action on their account. I fell in the "not usual" category for notifications, as I never got a notification when they received my application, nor for my biometrics appointment, nor for my interview appointment, nor for my oath being scheduled. I just checked my account online everytime and saw the notices and letters in there. Go figure...
