Yesterday finished oath ceremony, received naturalization certificate and also voter registration application but i decided to register online, so today i registered to vote online. Just want to make sure that there was no waiting time or anything to register to vote online, right? I mean i know it will take some time for them to update online records, but i am good to register today , right?

All those warning wordings in the end of registration, freak me out. haha. Thanks

Biometrics Walk in

Hello, I went to the ASC but were told that they don’t do any walk ins. They only do the scheduled and no less or more than that due to coronavirus even tho the office looked empty. I asked them if i can stay till the end of the day and do it but nope.
I don’t know when they are going to re schedule me since mine were scheduled for March 18 the same day the office closed. On the letter it says they will reschedule it and we don’t have to call so I don’t even know if i should call them. I am very sure they are going to say to wait and they will reschedule it themselves.
Online I don’t even have estimated wait time just have estimated completion time.

Hi Elizabeth,  were they open and doing biometrics?  If they were, I would call them and let them know that you were scheduled on March 18th, the day they closed, so technically you were next in-line. Now they are doing others even though you were supposed to be "next in-line". Ask them if they can re-schedule it for you sooner rather than later? See what they say... The worst the would do is to say no! right?

im sorry to hear that :( my friend she tried to do Bio Walk in the very first day and the employees were super rude and frustrated!!! the lady outside od the lobby was yelling at this elder couple! ahhh so frustrating! but the lady forgot to check her appointment letter and let her in! (pretty much she snook in) but she mentioned that there was like only two persons getting the biometrics inside the building.... she was out in less than 5minutes! I don't get it! why they can't just take more people if they're not busy! SMH! but well good luck everyone! stay sane!

Hello everyone,

I know that everyone in here are anxious to keep the ball rolling. I myself also wants to be done with the whole process. But let’s try and give USCIS some grace and a little bit more understanding, they laid off couple of people, less operations, and also there’s a pandemic going on. Let’s try to be more patient. And I believe most of us have a 10year GC anyway, right? I myself is just grateful that I am able to stay and work legally herr in the US. Let’s all stay positive and patient and hope for the best. Stay safe everyone!

Hi friends!

Tiny glimmer of hope here!

My "Estimated Wait Time" moved from 2 months (Sept. 1) to now 29 days (today).

I'm hoping what that means is that I'll have an interview scheduled in October. Hoping.

My Case Completion time has stayed the same (December 2020), which is fine. I'm not sure if Honolulu is doing same day oaths - last time I checked a few months ago the federal court was closed so I don't really know what to expect there.

But it was exciting to log onto my account and see that unexpected change.

Come on!!!!!!

Good for you.

I just checked mine and the case completion time got extended by another month - from Apr 2021 to May 2021.

My wait time stayed the same 8 months as it was when I last checked in early Aug.

Dallas office is soooo slooooow!!

Hi, I posted this this morning for N400. Joining this thread now. Do I have access to update the excel file? will update the interview date once the form is available.

Thanks

------

This morning, I received the text message that the interview is scheduled.

Although document itself is not there yet in the Documents in the USCIS page, it will be there after 2 or 3 days. Anyways, very glad to hear the update.

Here's my timeline, hope this helps for getting rough idea on the time.

CIS Office :    Boston MA
Date Filed :    2020-02-10
NOA Date :    2020-02-10
Bio. Appt. :    2020-03-04

Congratulations for the interview.  I do not think your interview will be in September. It is likely that it will be in October!  This is from the pattern with other applicants.  What is the estimated time to finish the process when you log into your account? and what does it say for the next step estimated wait time?

Thanks !

For me, the original estimated time was July 2020. Then, the time went past this  (and no more estimated times are showing up in my account).

Will update once the interview schedule form is available in the account.
