Add me to the list of people with this problem. My AOS payment went through and shows as paid, but the IV is taking much longer. I'm on day 3 now.

Hey Vermyndax, this is my 39th day.. Hahaha.. I was affected by a glitch and I am skeptical if they fixed it yet or not, do not worry yours will open in 3-4 days depending on their pace of processing.

Really? But you have the transaction ID on it?

I got stuck only with my AOS Payment but it went already as Paid. I think u need to call them again and from what i've read before if it was deducted on your bank they'll ask you to send a proof that it was deducted and will update your acct

Oh my goodness

I have two visa applications in process. One for my wife and one for my stepdaughter. Strangely enough, the one for my stepdaughter had an issue and wouldn't process. I resubmitted it the next day and it went through just fine. Both were sitting as "IN PROCESS" until suddenly, this morning, the stepdaughter's showed as PAID. My wife's is still showing IN PROCESS, and hers was paid first.

The NVC website really sucks.

just asking since the issue is back and now affects me as well... Did the payments go through for all of you in the meantime and if so, how long did it take? 
 

Did you actively do something, or just wait?

Yes, my payments finally went through. All I really could do was wait. I want to say the payment for one of them took only 3 days, but the other one took 3 weeks.

The issue resolved it self (but we put our case under supervisor review just in case it took longer than 6 weeks)

 

It took us almost 24 days since the date of the payment for them to ask us to pay again (status changed from in process to pay now that day then I paid and it got processed in exactly a week)

our payment was actually withdrawn from hubby’s bank account, so I don’t think we’d have to pay again. We did put in an inquiry approx. 1 week ago, so I hope they’ll start processing inquiries from June 1st soon since we did submit a screenshot from the bank account as proof of payment.

I tried to. At least twice. It made no difference, they didn't respond. I spent half a morning calling the NVC as well, and they told me to try back if it didn't resolve itself in 10 weeks. I wish I was kidding. Eventually, it did resolve itself. The worst part is that they took the money, but the website pretended they did not receive it for weeks. It was very frustrating.

That is the worst website ever, seriously.

10 weeks! Wow, that’s insane!

I’ll check which emails they are processing as of tomorrow (date wise) and will call them a few days later. It’s not my fault if their website doesn’t work properly 😩

Hello all, It seems like lots of people went through or going through this payment stuck thing. In my case I got the USCIS approval on 5/26 and got the email from NVC same day. I made payments to both AOS and DS-260 and DS-260 was updated to "PAID" within 3 days but as of today AOS still says "IN PROCESS" so it has been almost two weeks. This morning I gave NVC a call luckily I was able to connect and explained the status and rep told me to fill out an inquiry on website and attach a bank statement screenshot with payment showing cleared. I just fill it out and attached the screenshot today. Hopefully they will update it and so I can be done with AOS. Good luck to everyone and please do update as I will when my status changes.
