Hi I came here to the US 4 months ago with a k1 visa ,  I got my ssn 3 months ago somehow I found out that I have excellent credit score which is 760 . I don't even know how , when i was getting my debit card out of curiosity I told the banker to see if I can get a credit card but she told me it impossible bc I don't have any history but when she applied for me I got accepted for a credit card , she was Shocked she told me I'm so lucky , I also got approved for other stuff . Did anyone had the same experience or does anyone have an explanation?

I added my wife to my existing credit card in the fall of 2017.  About 4 months later, she also had an excellent credit score.

By the way, I use Creditkarma for tracking credit scores. You can see exactly what the credit agencies have regarding your credit accounts, history, etc.  It's free and checking your score doesn't affect it.
