Theft rising at U.S. Wal-Mart stores

I know all the Walmarts I have been to have those security things as you go out of the store that beep at you if the tellers haven't cleared your items or if someone has shoplifted something...

I think that only applies to high ticket items...like CDs, DVDs, electronics...etc.

Theft rising at US WalMart? It has probably happened for a long time, and they just started realising they need to face this problem.

The Wal-Mart stores around here has a lot of security walking around the stores.....many of them in street clothes so you don't know who they are. The security alarms seem to always be going off too even when you HAVE paid for the merchandise

yeah bcz either the cashiers registers deactivator doesnt work OR they dont bother to deactivate it... shame on them... matter of fact when i go in to work in the morning i will have the cashiers check all the registers ... :yes:
