Yes. And our status is currently set at ready.

If you have the MNL number then why not give it a try on the scheduling website?  You can have you interview soon.

Hello everyone! Sorry I don’t know how to start a topic, so I decided just to post on this one. But my question is can I start filing my paperwork this year when I go back to the Philippines I make $4000 a month after taxes and have $15,000 on my bank account. Would it be smart to start doing paper this October when I go back to the Philippines? And would my w2 from last year work even though it shows 6 months of work but I made $17k. I have a family of 4 counting me would it be enough for me to get them here. Thank You I’d like to start the paperwork October so by the time next year’s tax season I can show my fully yearly income. Thank You

Thanks Hank again for all of your help! You are amazing man! You are right. Many times the packet will not be sent. They said a packet never went out and that they are emailing me the packet.  So the best thing to do in the situation if your attorney is needing the eligibility letter is to call the phone number on the status ready page and have them email you a copy.  Thanks again for your blog post too. Great information!

Thanks for the update.     Still .. burning daylight or did your attorney schedule your interview?

Yeap still burning daylight. The attorney wont budge until they have the email. The sad thing is when I told them we were ready they said just wait for further instructions. That is the standard response I get for every question I ask them :( So so sad.

Interesting they are two weeks into something that they could have been at the 10 minute mark if they listened.

Some couples with the same timeline have already completed the interview however our attorney wont budge until they have the instructions. If I wouldn't have called we would have waited for months.

Who works for whom ?

You do know there is very little an attorney can do during the visa application process in Manila   ...

He can setup your profile (which would make me nervous) and schedule your interview for you (without regard to what date appeals to you) ONCE you have paid the visa fee and provide the attorney with the receipt number.

... you are braver that me, I would not give up total control the way you are

Tell me again WHY you want an attorney involved at this point?

You have wasted another week on something you can do yourself.

I know and the only response I get is please wait for further instructions after sending multiple requests to them. Makes you feel totally helpless. :(  Thanks again Hank for all of your help! You have been a great help!
