Yeah same, I have no idea what's their work capacity right now but at the same time (and I'm touching wood....) my case was received July 9th and they already charged my CC and already used my fingeprints so no need for biometrics. Plus it's really frustrating because we are literally miles away from them haha

I still have no NOA, though, and I'm a bit nervous that's because I moved and they didn't take into account my change of address.

I-751:

07/09: Package received by uscis

07/14: Credit card charged

07/16: Text notification (YSC center)

07/22: Fingerprints applied to my case

07/30: NOA

Hi everyone!

Any YSC 2019 fillers have had any good news? Has the Potomac service center had any movements at all? What’s the last approval you heard from this office? Please share any thing you have heard. Almost 14 months waiting here

Very little news

I did see a June 2019 filer on Facebook get approved. But it seems like it was a one-off

I was going to wait for my green card, but I decided I'm going to apply for citizenship in the next week or so instead. Nothing is moving

N-400 Timeline

March 16 2021 - Interview & same day Oath Ceremony, Ft. Myers FL - Officially a US citizen!

February 8 2021 - Interview Scheduled for March 16th

January 20 2021 - Received Biometric Reuse Letter

September 1 2020 - Filed Online

ROC Timeline

December 14 2020 - Green Card Received

December 12 2020 - Approval Notice Received

December 8 2020 - Approval Email, Case Status Updated

November 4 2019 - Completed Biometric at USCIS Tampa

October 26 2019 - Received Biometric Appointment Letter - Scheduled Nov 4th

July 25 2019 - Received 18 Month Extension Letter

July 23 2019 - Check cashed

14 months?? That's so depressing. I've just hit the 1 year mark and become despondent. I hate all this waiting and 'limbo'. I can't understand how something fairly routine can be taking so long??

I can now file my N400 but I'm not bothering with wait times long enough and the virus screwing everything up more... I'm in no rush for Citizenship

Cases in Texas and Nebraska from last summer have been moving lately -

What is going on with Potomac ????

Me too! But I really doubt it. I also follow cases numbers close to mine and there is no movement whatsoever. Not even RfE’s or interview appointments. It’s just so frustrating seeing other centers approving cases from 2020 when I have seen people waiting since 2018. I’m almost at 14 months and not to go insane with the wait and expectations I have put it in God’s hands. Hopefully we will all get our blessing soon!

Just a quick update!

I filed for ROC last September and have been with Potomac ever since. My marriage didn’t work out and I ended up finalizing my divorce in the beginning of this month. As soon as I received my final divorce decree I sent it to Potomac with a request to switch my application to a waiver. As soon as they received my paperwork my case status changed to ‘We received your correspondence and USCIS is reviewing it’.

I understand this is barely an update, but I was surprised how quickly they added the paperwork to my file and updated me with the case status! Our cases may not be moving as fast as we would like (or at all truthfully) but at least someone is there working on things which gives me a bit of relief!

How long it took to Potomac change the status? I did the same process and have no update at all. Also, do you remember what adress did you send it? I am asking because I am not sure If I sent the correct place

If I am not mistaken it took them a day or two from the day they received my package, so very fast!

I sent it to

2200 Potomac Center Dr

MS 2425

Arlington VA 20598-2425

it is the same address that is at the bottom of your I-797 NOA, unless your case was later transferred to Potomac, then maybe they didn’t provide you with the correct address?

I sent the divorce decree and a letter from me saying that my A# is XXX and I applied on XX day of September 2019 and on XX day of August me and my husband got divorced. Basically gave them all the basic info and asked to switch my application to a divorce waiver. The letter wasn’t detailed and I didn’t send anything else besides the letter and the decree, so we’ll see how it goes!

Hello all.  I was looking for info on Potomac and found this thread.  My wife just got her text this morning that the i-751 for her and her daughter was received and the application is at Potomac with a "YSC" receipt number.

Filed: August 1, 2020

Rejected: August 12, 2020 - wrong i-751 edition

Refiled: August 19, 2020

Received (Texas): August 21, 2020

Text/NOA: September 2, 2021

Their AOS was super fast, but from what I have read in this thread, it doesn't sound like we will be so lucky with removing conditions.  It will be interesting (hopefully fun) to follow everyone's progress in this thread.

For now, we'll wait to see what happens with biometrics and plan to file the N-400 in a year.

Good luck everyone - Jason
