Hey @Guido51 something occurred to me. Your i751 is a divorce waiver right? How come you were able to apply for the n400 already? If you are doing i751 that means you have only been a resident for 3 years. If you have a divorce waiver then that means you are not eligible for n400 under the 3 year rule. Or am i missing something?

yes divorce waiver but i applied with 5 year rule. my first i751 took way too long and i had a divorce so this is my second i751. hope this makes sense.

hi folks, i filed n400 12 montsh ago and my i751(waiver) has been pending since july 2020.

my i751 never got transferred after filing n400.

last update for both is "fingerprints taken"

is anyone in similar situation? i'm worried that my case got forgotten because it is never transferred. i see almost everyone's case gets transferred after filing n400 but mine didn't.

appreciate any feedback

yeah. do you think my i751 has to be transferred first before interview or approval?

i just worry why my i751 got stuck at fingerprints taken even though i filed n400.

Call them continuously until you get answers, or submit a service request if it’s outside normal processing time or get your lawyer to inquire about it.

Are you still able to work with out any issues assuming your GC and extensions have expired?

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it that does not require a lawyer or money, but you can wait until the n400 interview or until you require another stamp and ask them about it or continue submitting service requests or calling them until they give a an answer.

thanks that is what i'm going to do.

last question: because my case didn't get transferred after filing n400(like most people) does it mean that my case is not being handled?

I can’t answer that with confidence, but my best guess is for you to not worry about it, they have to figure it out to process your n400, so maybe it was transferred and a notice just wasn’t sent or updated. Focus on your n400. Call them to verify that the correct address is on the I-751 once it’s correct you should be good. Remember they have to process i751 or find it to process the n400. Hope this helps.
