Hi everyone,

I am in the same boat. Patiently waiting for Potomac to remove conditions of my GC.
Filed in September 2019

Had biometrics done on January 31, 2020

My case status says ‘Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken’ and nothing else.

Let’s hope we hear some news soon!

Welcome!

Praying we are next after SRC

Mailed on application on 5/21

Received text notification that application was received on 5/22

I have not received any NOA Letter

I’m planning to call a second tier officer on 6/22 if NOA still hasn’t arrived

DC area including Arlington seems be reopening much slower than the rest of the country.. I doubt they can do much of their work online. Hence they delay :(

Just found out that Potomac is here in Northern VA, which has been badly badly hit by the pandemic. The area shut down, with non-essential federal workers working remotely since March 2020. On top of that, the county where YSC is (Arlington), is the worst hit in Northern VA. As of today, the rest of VA has already re-opened but Northern VA is still just on Phase 2 (restrictions are still in place with teleworking still strongly encouraged). Not sure if USCIS can work on cases at the same service level while teleworking, but this could be a reason why YSC has slowed down this year when before it was one of the fastest centers.

quick update. VA will be going into Phase 3 of reopening this coming July 1. For this phase, non-essential retail, restaurants, entertainment venues, parks, fitness facilities, etc are open with physical distancing required but teleworking is still "strongly encouraged".

Oh Sorry, I read it as 5/5/2019. When did you have your biometrics taken if your NOA is 5/5/2020, that is quick

It was updated a couple days ago I figured out they used it from the last time I did AOS

That's a fantastic update!

I'm concerned that there's talking of USCIS furloughing up to two thirds of their workforce in August - specifically employees who do all the behind-the-scenes work like paperwork, approvals and cards. If that happens, this already drawn-out process is going to be on life-support - it could be Christmas or later before any more Summer 2019 approvals :o
