Guys how long should I wait for an i751 interview? On March USCIS told me they will schedule an interview in my local office (which is Miami as I live there) it's been 4 months and they didnt sent me any letter! I'm losing my patience. I want this to be over:(

Anybody knows if Miami office is busy and backlogged ?

@Rosa Garcia There is no way to estimate how long it will take the Miami Field Office to schedule your I-751 Interview. You can check the processing times here I-485s and N-400s at the Miami Field Office. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

One thing that is within your reach is to apply for naturalization. You are likely eligible by now. Doing so can often time speed up processing of your I-751. Or at the very least, your N-400 will hit a hard stop because the I-751 is pending. That will hopefully prompt the officer who is adjudicating your N-400 to request your I-751 file.

I-751 Joint Filing.

06-15-2021 - Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.

05-26-2021 - Received NOA/extension letter. Notice date and postmarked 05-20-2021.

05-23-2021 - Received text message with Receipt #. YSC Potomac Center.

05-21-2021 - Checks cashed (processing on joint checking account)

05-07-2021 - I-751 received in Arizona.

Marriage-based AOS - Concurrent filing.

05-07-2019 - AOS Approved. Resident since date 05/07/2019.

05-06-2019 - AOS Interview

04-23-2018 - "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

03-16-2018 - Priority Date.

Why would I check processing times for i485 and N-400? They have been processing my file since Nov 2019 for 20 months already. Why there's no processing times for I-751 in any field office and NBC office? When I check processing times for N-400 for Miami is 18 months.. how does that apply to me?

By checking the I-485 and N-400 processing times at the Miami Field Office, you can get a rough idea of how busy that field office is.

The NBC has your file. They will keep it there until the field office requests it. They will request it when they have a slot to interview you and your spouse.

No one knows. USCIS does not publish processing times for petitions processed at the NBC and that later require an interview at the field office.

It was just a suggestion for you to get an idea of how busy the field office is.

Again, no one knows what is the timeline to schedule an interview in an office. It is random, yours could be in a months, or years. No one can give you an answer, including USCIS. Sit back and wait. Apply for N-400 if you can it might speed things, who knows?

No one here or on the phone can give you the answer you want,

Omg

apparently it’s not. Someone on the Facebook group said that they called and they were told that it wasn’t an error. I guess 11 years is the new standard🙈

It has to be a mistake as they were just review October 2019 cases the other day. No way they fall back in time to 10 years ago.

It's probably not a mistake; it probably got moved back to prevent people from doing processing inquiries as now all the cases they have there are within processing times.

Doesn't mean it will actually take 10+ years to process, but it prevents them from getting inundated with more inquiries when they clearly can't keep up.
