590 days and still holding still. No update, extension expired, and as everyone else, not sure what to do other than getting a stamp. This is just too much.

Ugh it's so infuriating reading the thread for people who applied the same time as me. They're all getting their approvals and i'm here stuck on the finger prints.

I don't think this message was for me because I only filed in July 2020. I shouldn't complain because I've seen many people on this thread waiting longer but when I compare with filers from July/June and seeing them receiving their cards, it upsets me....

Gotcha. I thought you'd filed in 2019, @Aquilina. I am learning quickly that when you filed is just as important as the Service Center. Texas Service Center keeps churning I-751s consistently within 4-5 months.

I feel for you. Matter of fact I currently feel that way in regards to my citizenship. a few forum I read where they filed for citizenship in July 2020 and already got approved. Where some of us are Still waiting.

I would try calling 2wice a month to ask for any updates and it just might trigger an agent to look into your case.

All the best!

Today marks 20 months since filling i751 form and my online still has not been changed from received. Any more oct 2019 been approved or scheduled for an  interview?  This honestly has been the most frustrating prolonged experience and I just want it to be over. i know its still within processing time I guess I just wanted to vent to people that understand what I am going through.

I filed September 19th 2019 so same here. My case is also a divorce waiver, so i wonder how long it’s going to take them to process it.

Yeap mine is divorce waiver also. I mean my ex was abusive and was trying to kill me. I still paid for the application didn't want to try to prove he was abusive even tho I have restraining order on him.

I finally was able to submit out of processing time. At least now I have a date to look for.

I know the wait sucks but does it really matter that much? We all still keep the LPR without a problem. Get a stamp and wait until eligible for citizenship. You can then apply concurrently and that is all... My two cents.

Hi folks. I just started the long process at YSC. I have deep sympathy for those who’ve been waiting for 20+ months - that’s way too long to be held in limbo, even with the LPR extension. Here’s hoping we start to see things speeding up soon.

29-Oct-2017: Filed I-129f

18-Sep-2018: Interview at US Embassy in London. K-1 Visa Approved!

28-Sep-2018: Entered US on K-1 Visa

02-Oct-2018: Married!

05-Oct-2018: Filed I-485, I-765, and I-131 (AoS, EAD, & AP)

01-Nov-2018: Biometrics appointment at USCIS Phoenix Field Office

22-Mar-2019: EAD/AP approved

25-Jun-2019: Interview at USCIS Virginia - Washington Field Office

27-Jul-2019: Green Card (AoS) approved

12-May-2021: Filed I-751 - Potomac Service Center

03-Nov-2022: Filed N-400 - Baltimore Field Office

02-May 2023: Naturalization interview scheduled

06-Jun 2023: Naturalization interview - Baltimore Field Office - Cancelled as I-751 had not been processed

11-Jan 2024: N-400 Status Updated to "Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS"

01-Feb 2024: I-751 approved

I got my extension stamp about 3 weeks ago. When I called a couple of weeks prior for an InfoPass appointment, the person I spoke to said that even though Potomac is showing a "date for inquiry" in August (at the time), I was still outside the normal processing timeline and he would put in an inquiry for me.

This is what I received as a response:

Your application is still pending consideration. We regret that we are not able to give you a time frame for when we will complete the review of your application. In response to the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offices have modified operations and will be limited in how we process and update your application.

I honestly think that the only service that has been slower was the Canadian medical system when it took them 3 years (and multiple "we need another MRI" visits) to schedule my mother's shoulder surgery about 20 years ago that had left her unable to lift anything over 10 lbs. since.
