Hi Everyone,

I’m new here.
I have 2 year greencard form CR1 (Thailand)

I sent my I-751 Package on September 15,2020

Got extension letter September 21,2020

now status still show up as Case was received.
I saw to many people sent their case  in the same month with got waive fingerprints.
I’m not sure why my case can not reused fingerprints.
and also I ask 8 People form my country the came come CR1 visa in the same years all of Them have their I-751 application at MSC (That’s mean they have to be interview. )

I wonder why they My I-751 application have to sent to Protomac.

I have tourists visa before . Come here before I got greencard couple time. But never have fingerprints appointment inside United State at USCIS Office. Just only have fingerprints with Immigration when I came by tourist visa and CR1 visa

Just seen on another forum an Aug 8 filer got approved today
This means it has taken YSC about 2 months to process 7 days worth of applications filed between Aug 1-Aug 8 2019....that's sad

Yup, that is what I noticed as well. It been over two months of adjusting August 2019 based on approvals. I am not sure they even working on cases since per old releases, I-751 applications takes less than 60 min to adjudicate...

The processing time is literally 15-18 Months now.

People with other service center created google sheet to collect data points. I think it is a great idea. Should we have that for YSC?

Hi there! This was a great idea so I've created a Google Sheet to collect this information for YSC. Please find and fill out here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a7XdYeXqt0MNqXm9fwdo57XNMlKmxecs2tXFLKM_I-Q/edit?usp=sharing

Thanks! :)

Thank you for doing it. How can we promote this sheet to people at YSC center? The other centers have a link directly to the sheet at the post

  • 2 weeks later...

Processing time now went up to 19-22 Months, which means there is no even way to submit out processing time before almost 2 years wait-time if not processed. Potomac just went from the fastest to process to the longest wait-time in a matter of a year.

Yeah my favorite thing about USCIS is how they can change processing times and then have no responsibility to answer inquiries.  Wish I could do that at my job.  Sorry, but today the time to do this increased to 5 days instead of 1 day.  Please wait for the 5th day before asking me a status.  On 5th day, sorry time frame for completion has increased to a month, see you then.

It depends on your local office. It could take from few months to a year, no one can really give you any real insight.
