So, even less hope to get approved any time soon.  Also, there are probably going to be cases that will be lost.  Hooray!

And things at SRC will slow down even more...

I wish they would have stopped receiving cases earlier in 2023 if they knew they were moving AND transferred some of the cases onto other centers while working on the cases that were there as much as they could before moving.  But, no, they do not have enough IQ to be efficient and effective.

Sadly, this means that N400 is literally the only option now to see any movement.  However, now I am concerned that if we do file for N400 at some point (we are still not going to do it now), the 751 gets lost during the move and, thus, it just delays everything again.  So, it is a loss-loss situation. LOL

It is ridiculous.  To me, a case like yours should have been approved by now, especially with a move coming.  We are definitely not going to file N400 now.  We have several reasons not to do it, but this one just adds one more.  I don't know where our physical file will end up and rushing to do N400 might still get both stuck if they can't even find the 751. LOL

It looks like we will be pursuing ADIT stamp in 2024. 🤣

That was an automatic e-mail.  I am subscribed to their newsletter.  It is also posted on their website somewhere.

Why would you do that? If you filed in 2022, your 48 month extension letter is good until 2026

It was a typo.  I meant to say 2026.  As it is unlikely that Potomac will get better at processing.  If it is 33-35 months now, it will only take longer during and after the move.  Just being sarcastic.😅😂

I am going to file N400, honestly don't think N400 would delay the process, if it's taking 33-35 months now, it would probably be 50 month by next year around this time so not sure how N400 would "Delay" anything.

I didn't say the N400 would delay it.  I was saying that the 751 would delay the N400.

Honestly, it is a 50/50 chance - as usual.

I do not state my point of view as absolute truth.

My only concern is that during a move, my case could NOT be as readily available as it was before.  Thus, to get the physical case transferred over to my local office (because it is pending at the time I file N400), is probably going to take longer than what is normally taking for others when they submit the N400 with a pending 751.  A N400 case will not get approved with a pending 751.  Thus, if they can't find the file, the case will linger until they do.

I hear you, I just think the N400 might give it a nudge.

A few folks in a WhatsApp thread I'm in filed their N400 for YSC in September and just got interview notifications for mid-December - so only two months from when they submitted (!!). Definitely apply!

And this is when their I751 was pending with Potomac? Mine is pending for 33 months and I can apply for N400 in December....
