POTOMAC (YSC) I-751 Non Transferred Filers ONLY...

My I-751 was received by USCIS on 5/1/2021.  We received the I-751 approval on 1/5/2023 without an interview and we got the greencard a week later.

I hope that others that are currently waiting will have the same luck. Next is the I-400 but we need a mental break from the stress.

Did you submit inquiries?  Or anything that would have made them “act quicker”?  I know there are filers from 2020 that are still waiting.  You mentioned you are going to do N400 next, so I know it was not that.

I did not submit an inquiry for the I-751 because it was within "normal processing time". However. I also had filed an I-130 for my kids which was in process at the same time. The NVC had told us in February last year that they would setup the interviews with the embassy. Finally in November 2022 we received interview dates for them to go to the embassy on 1/5/2023. Their papers were approved the same day as the I-751.

I did do a live chat with Emma on my kids I-130 paperwork in September 2021 and I did a contact us at the smae time. USCIS website showed that they had sent my kids papers to NVC in May 2021 but NVC didn't have them. NVC finally received their paperwork in November 2020.

In my investigation, I did see sporadic approvals from later months, but it is not until you get to the forms filed on October/November 2020 do you see approvals and RFEs being issued.

how do you check?

In the "Case Tracker" App on IOS, it allows you to search up tp 500 cases at a timer.  I set a range and start moving numbers

Thats super odd, I applied for the ROC feb 2 2021 & still have not had a response, my 24m letter is expiring on feb 23 2023 so I’m assuming unfortunately they’ll probably send me another 4 year extension smh. I’m honestly thinking of applying for the N-400 maybe March if I get nothing until then

Well, from what I saw you probably have 4 months more of waiting, you're very close, wait a little longer.  I see the vast majority of i-751 forms are approved without an interview, if you send the N-400 now you'll probably muddle your process because they have to send the form to the local office, and you'll most likely have to do a combo interview.

Is there a Potomac only Whatsapp group? If there is, I want to join!
