Would CRBA help on Interview?

Hello, I am the US Citizen father and I just recently applied and got my daughter her CRBA in the Philippines last September.

I am now in the NVC process of my wife's IR-1 visa and wondering if the CRBA could be considered evidence of strong ties to my wife on her interview? Also you think emails sent between each other would help as well? Thanks as always!

It is good proof of a relationship especially if you have been supporting them.

Ok that's good to hear! Thank you. I am also sending her money through xoom, I'm hoping those receipts can be used as any evidence.

I would skip evidence of sending money to the foreign spouse.  It doesn't help and can hurt.  The CRBA is strong evidence.  That you've been married for two years and WERE married when the child was conceived is great.  Just concentrate on the evidence of time spent together in person.  I wouldn't even bother with emails in your situation.

Oh ok, thanks as always for your advice pushbrk!

This would apply to the interview right? I had already submitted evidence for my I-130 and was approved. I was now trying to clarify relationship evidence at the IR-1 interview stage. Thanks!

Yes CBRA document is very good evidence, it is akin to a birth certificate.  And emails are considered relationship evidence for the embassy interview as well.   Do you send money to support your wife & child?  Copies of those receipts would be relationship evidence as well (there is not a negative to sending money to support a wife and child).

I might add that appearing at the interview with your USC daughter, the three of you, seems to charm the process. This is in my experience, anyway.

I attended my wife's CR-1 visa interview with our USC daughter, and it was an educational experience. The first question the CO asked when we walked up to the window was "have you applied for CRBA?". Appearing beside my wife, holding my daughter (not quite 2 years old), and responding "Yes", seemed to put a positive spin on the outcome. I didn't have any other interaction, since he then asked me to sit and wait while he interviewed my wife.

I may be wrong, as we had everything prepared, sorted and ready. But our relationship might otherwise raise several "yellow flags" (big age difference, no family involvement on my side, previous marriages, not to mention a nervous beneficiary...). For weeks prior to the interview, I tried to calm my wife by telling her "All they need to do is see our daughter, that's all the proof they need." It was more than that, obviously, but I felt it was a big plus in their decision.
