i was just freaking out and signed all of the following:

-  the application

- cover letter

- intent letters (me and fiance)

- work history attachment (have a lot, running out of space)

- address history (also running out of space)

- translation certification (for foreign documents)

- I also wrote a story (and signed that)

- all the pictures 4*6 (signed at the back)

- all the chat transcripts (signed once at the end)

- all the sample call logs

- Affidavit from friends and family (made sure that's signed and notarized)

- Engagement announcement letter (signed that)

Mine was 145 pages all together. I was freaking out.

You went out of your way for virtually nothing.   Only a couple of the items needed to be signed

YMMV

I understand but at sAustria doesn’t seem like it’s a high fraud because it’s such a wealthy country and I think it’s a visa waiver country as well(?)

Im also in Utah. Sent mine overnight to the lockbox in Texas. I made two copies of mine. One for me and one for my fiance.

Did you use usps overnight? Also did you send that to the PO Box in Dallas? Or did you send to Lewisville

The only thing I could lose out on is if USPS f*cks up and loses my package... I guess I could request for my package to be insured. $535 is not cheap

Insurance won’t cover the value of papers or a check/money order. It covers the material value of the items inside. Even if it was cash, the limit is $15.

You can pay via a method that you can cancel in the event of loss.

Someone at the lockbox is not going to like scanning that in.

Too late. Already printed a cashiers check this afternoon. Fingers are just crossed that I they are delivered without incident.

It's rare that it does get lost. Just keep tracking it.

The value of a cashier check can generally can be recovered via a declaration of loss with the issuing authority (+ usually a waiting period). Not a good experience, but not a complete loss either.

Best wishes.

I also have a duplicate set of application (like literally everything is duplicated, signed again, etc.) - you know - just in case.

You should keep a copy of it in the cloud.  I've put all of our documents on g-drive and it has saved our bacon more than once.

How long did it take to actually be delivered? I'm nervous about the shipment most of all! :( USPS priority mail is about 3-5 days right?

Priority mail will have it there in 2 days from Utah. 3 at the most.
