the official website, when i type in my case number. It shows its in AP.

Well, ask your lawyer who/how she learned of the revocation.  Your status is one, or the other. Cannot be both. So lawyer, or website, is incorrect.

@MachadoMercedess is going to try to find that out.

@Lemonslice I had personally emailed the US embassy to find out why AP was taking so long and that was when they sent me an email sayin our petition had been revoked. Attached is a screenshot of that email.

When did you receive this email? Did you or the attorney contact USCIS 6-8 weeks later? Did you or the attorney receive a Notice of Intent to Revoke?

OK.  The case is definitely not still in Administrative Processing.  It was sent back to USCIS.  You might have to get your Sentaor or Representative involved to get to the root of the issue.  You really need to know why the consulate sent it back.

@LilyJ @cd37 No red flags that I can think of. We’ve been honest about everything and our relationship is 100% authentic. I’m 25, he’s 24. Neither of us are religious and at that time we had met up in several countries and spent months together. Lots of pictures, receipts, hotel reservations with both our names on it, etc.. as proof. We honestly can’t think of any reason which leads me to believe that we might have been revoked due to our petition expiring.

Just a shot in the dark to help try to get an idea for the reason of the revocation.... what were these countries you visited and for how long? Asking because there are a few countries that are on a ban list. Also, were there any previous marriages for either of you?

No previous marriages for either of us @Unlockable. Weve been together since 2013. We’ve visited Dubai, Qatar, Nepal, Maldives, and then now I was just in Pakistan with him.

@missileman for some reason when you search our case status it says we are still under AP. However, I’m assuming they just haven’t updated it because the embassy told me it was sent back to USCIS.

@Marieke H I kept checking the case status & I got to a point where I was fed up with it saying that we were under AP. I decided to reach out to the embassy personally and that was when they responded to me saying that it was sent back to USCIS for revocation on July 19th, 2019.

we haven’t received anything whatsoever. No slip, no letter, no emails etc.. the only reason I know of the revocation is because I reached out and asked them. Otherwise we’d still be thinking we’re under AP since that what it still shows now.

Well you will find out the relevant code, not the results of the investigations that lead them to return the petition.

In 4 to  months you will be notified that the petition is dead, standard procedure.

The only way for me to find out why they sent back our petition to be revoked is through contacting my senator or representative correct? I have sent emails to them but never received a response. Can I personally reach out to USCIS? if so, how? Thanks everyone!

There is usually a contact form somewhere on a representative’s website about immigration issues, or specific information how to do it. A generic email may take ages to get allocated and answered. I don’t know who your congressperson is but as an example here is the page on senator rubio’s website that explains what to do, the form to fill in, if you scroll down you’ll see the specifics they require for immigration cases, and that there is a particular email address for help https://www.rubio.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/casework

Good luck.
