Still waiting on NOA2

I haven't yet received NOA2. My case was received on October 10. Is it still early or should I take any action on this?

What action do you want to take?  California is reporting July as dates for outside normal processing.   They won't take any action on an October date

The California service center just started giving out NOA2 notices for October fillers. Be a little more patient.

It is true that the California service center is reporting July dates as within the norm, however, people who received their NOA1 in October are receiving their NOA2 now.

I have no doubt but the uscis will tell the op to blow smoke until the dates are being reported as October

Your answer towards the OP is simply abrupt and rude. The OP asked, implied, that if he/she should receive the next notice of action - which in this case would be the NOA2. I am sure the OP is not expecting an interview and/or a granted visa during the month of October. You really did not answer the OP question at all - instead you jumped the gun and just were bitter.

That's not what the OP was asking.   I think you need to reread the original post before you criticize me for actually answering the question.  The uscis will not entertain any kind of action or inquiry the OP may make until they are outside normal processing times which right now is being reported by the uscis as July

I am filling out of Texas. VisaJourney has been giving me a weekly notice and it is telling me that NOA2 "could arrive any day"

Nobody is in Texas,  if your receipt begins WAC you are in California.   VJ dates are not uscis dates.  Not much you can do until the uscis says you are outside normal processing

Texas Service Center (TSC) does not handle I-129Fs for a fiance. All I-129Fs for a fiance are handled by CSC initially, with certain types of cases being transferred to VSC for additional checks.

 

You sent the I-129F to the Texas lockbox. It was inputted into the system then sent to CSC to be adjudicated (note that this is not a transfer - it was assigned to CSC).

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

He said that he received an RFE but it has not been mailed to him. So he would not give you a definitive answer.

Mine was received on June 19. I'm still waiting too. I don't know for how long. But I will keep waiting patiently.
