My partner and I are currently waiting on the NVC (all docs submitted). Hopefully, we should be DQ'd soon and just awaiting an interview letter from the consulate in Auckland.  However, even if all goes well, I have to move back to the US with our daughter (also a US citizen) before we'll receive the IL with the list of documents he needs.

We want to make sure that my DH has all the originals (or notarized copies) of any documents he might need for the interview stage so we don't have to mail anything back - but that I also have the documents I may need for setting up in the States (e.g., my daughter's birth certificate, CRBA, my birth certificate, etc).  We know we need the originals of the documents submitted to the NVC, but I've also read that the Auckland consulate wants birth certificates for any children (even if US citizens) although we weren't required to submit it to the NVC.  Does anyone know if there are other similar documents that weren't submitted to the NVC, but the Auckland consulate requests?  For example, if they want the birth certificate of any children, will they also want proof of US citizenship (like a CRBA or passport picture)?

Thanks!
