ESTA whilst waiting for I-130

Hi,

 

I married my American husband (I’m a UK national) in September and we filed our I-130 in November. I obtained a new UK passport when I changed my name, so in order to visit him for a holiday,  I will need to apply for an ESTA with my new passport.

 

Does anyone know if it’s okay to apply for an ESTA when I have a pending I-130 form? 
I am a teacher employed full time in the UK and my intentions to visit are strictly On a temporary basis (holiday!!)
