Letter from Embassy - Odd Quirk

So I got my letter form the embassy. Here's the odd thing....

The single sheet states that it includes an approved I129F and a form about Legal Rights.

But it didn’t.

But worse....  it also states at the bottom, that my children are “traveling applicants” - but they are not.

I called the helpline to check and they confirmed at there end - it’s just me.

They then said to use a web-form  to ensure all the correct information in in order so I am waiting to hear from them.

So has anyone else had this?

Thanks

SB

Mine had my children who were not immigrating. I ignored it and nothing  came of it, nor were they mentioned at the interview. I think their names are there because they are eligible for a K2 visa based on your approved petition. They could “follow on” at a later date up to a year. But they would have to submit a DS-160 to apply. They haven’t applied or had a medical or paid a visa fee so the interview is only for you. No worries.

Somebody sending out the mail forgot your inserts. You don’t need them at the interview. I think they do that so you can read what your fiancé said in the petition in case she failed to tell you about 6 marriages and 10 kids 😂

Your  rights are posted somewhere on the embassy website if you want to read them.

Thx buddy.

Would they have written to my EX who has children at her address?

That would be a disaster.

Does explain why I have 5 files.

BUT I never said they were coming.

I checked.

No, she has nothing to do with this. If you were bringing the children, you would need her written permission to present at their interview, and you would be the one facing her on your own to get that permission.
