expedited request for Coronavirus Philippines.

My wife and 2 sons are in Manila. Our I130 cases were accepted Dec 2nd and are now processing. Now in Manila there have been 2 cases of Corona virus from China and one has died. The Philippines in the only country besides China that has had a reported death.

I want my family the hell out of there. I don't want to wait until there are 1000s of cases of Corona virus. Do you think there is any chance my expedition request could be accepted? I can't imagine how bad things could be in a year. I really want them to come to the USA now!

Of course you can request an expedite, I would be very surprised if it was approved but you never know.

I would have a Plan B as even with an expedite it would be some time, quicker but not quick.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

There are more than 60 countries to which Filipinos can travel without a visa.  If "out" is what you want, you can get them out NOW if they have passports.  https://www.moneymax.ph/lifestyle/articles/visa-free-countries-filipinos

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

It’s a nice thought..

you can always try, but coronavirus is affecting other countries too.. I think we’re up to 12 cases here now..

not sure mentioning the virus as a reason to get out is a good thing or bad thing given there’s currently no vaccination for it... it could slow things up 🤔

The man who died in the Philippines was a Chinese man who traveled from Wuhan, China to the Philippines and died. Don't send your wife and kids to America. The coronavirus is there too! CNN just said there are 11 confirmed cases in the States! Yikes! If I were you, I'd come to the Philippines to be safe. Only 2 confirmed cases here. I live in Manila and do not trust the media's fear mongering. I would be more scared of living in the US. Do you know how many people died from the flu from 2018-2019 in the USA? The CDC says 61,200. https://time.com/5610878/2018-2019-flu-season/ The year before was 79,400 deaths. I would put the numbers in context before you start requesting an expedited case.
