Yes, it went from approved to new card produced to picked up by usps and then it showed a tracking number.

Oh okay! Mine went from “new card being produced” to “case is approved” two days ago and no movement till now. I’ll just try not to worry (but is that ever possible in immigration?)

Hey I need some Help. Here's the situation. I'm working but I get summer break from work June 26th-27July (unpaid). I'm also pregnant and i'm due July 21st, which means i'll be out of work from June 26th and straight into my maturity leave which is also Unpaid. We have no update on our EAD since Feb 27th 2020. I called USCIS and Expedited the case under severe financial loss of an individual. Once I stop working and he's not able to work we are screwed!

As evidence I was planning on sending them the letter from my job to show the summer break dates and also a letter from my Doctor showing my due date. Is there anything else I can add? I see some of y'all did a cover letter? Any suggestions please?

Hey! I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry, you will definitely get it soon.  It was exactly 7 days from the date I got the first case status update of ‘new card being produced’ to when I received the card.  I wouldn’t personally worry until it had been like 2 weeks. I think on one of the updates it says ‘if you haven’t received your card by this date please contact us’ so If you see that update, you’re on the right track.

I imagine things are going to be delayed and take a while because of the current situations in Washington state (and others too!)

Looking forward to seeing your update on here saying you have your card in hand!! 😃🙂😀🙂😃🌈💛☀️🥳

Thanks so much for your positivity! It really helps ❤️

I haven't gotten the update yet which says the bit about contacting them if I haven't yet received my card. It is still stuck on "Case is Approved" which only talks about contacting them if we haven't received the approval notices yet that's why I was a bit worried.

I have a feeling I will have it by next week hopefully!!! Will surely update :)

You’re very welcome. I don’t always feel so positive myself in this journey but it definitely helps to try keep focused and not get on board the worry train, when possible. 🙂

My guess is that you will get it on or before Wednesday. If I were in your shoes, I’d contact them if you hadn’t received it (or at least the tracking info) by Friday. 🙂 I felt myself relax a lot once I got the tracking info.

How’s things going in Seattle? I have friends who live there in West Seattle & work in Capitol Hill district (I know there’s a lot of scary stuff happening there) and my husband’s grandma lives in WS too but she’s been self isolating for a while now. We were due to visit her in March for her 80th bday but due to COVID we had to postpone our trip. Luckily we were going to drive over (from Spokane) so there wasn’t any loss of money from flights etc.

I hope you and your family there are keeping well, healthy and safe! 🙂💛🌈

Anyone with NOA1 date around January 10th, and haven't gotten AP/EAD approved yet?

I'm feeling a bit down today and feel like I'm the only one not getting approved😅

Trying to be positive and crossing my fingers for approval this week!!!

Delivered to lockbox in Phoenix AZ 7/18/2022

It says Approved!?!?  8/23/2022

Finally received the Green Card 9/30/2022

Anyone who filed in mid april or anytime during the pandemic get a bio metrics appointment since the USCIS has opened back up its offices?

This is the January group, I think we're all good with biometrics. Also only the field offices are open now. The application support centers are still closed for public.

So sorry I didn't check my VJ account over the weekend.

No change as of this morning yet :( Feeling a bit disappointed honestly as I was expecting something today. But I'm trying to be really positive! I will give it this week and call on Thursday so that I can speak with a Tier 2 on Friday if needed.

I used to work in Capitol Hill before I quit for another job (which rescinded my offer due to COVID :( )

It's crazy how different it looks now! I am sure you've been keeping up with all the news of CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone). Basically it's a 6-block area where the East Precinct of Seattle PD has abandoned any police presence there and protesters have covered it with BLM murals, poetry readings, even makeshift cafes! It's quite a sight. The protesters are not allowing any police to enter the 6-block area (unless of a real emergency). It's made national news!

How are things in Spokane? Any protests over there?

I hope you and family are healthy and keeping safe in this historic time too. It can get really overwhelming and depressing at times, so try to stay positive (which I'm sure you do!) It's hard to celebrate the EAD because my husband says even though he can finally work and travel, the job market is in shambles!

I hope you can visit your grandmother soon - West Seattle Bridge is indefinitely closed so a lot of people who live there don't even come to main Seattle anymore, which in this time is a good thing!
