Yes yes yes. You crossed my mind this morning when I was wondering if either of us are going to see any movement. The days not over yet.

I talked with the USCIS contact centre yesterday, and she told me the processing time for the EAD application now is 6-8 months. Didnt it used to be 3-4?  Im starting to think , or at least hope, my green card might show up first.... but its already the end of May soon, so before we know it 6-8 months has passed! hang in there all of you!

This is a disaster. We are honestly discussing abandoning our petition and moving so I can keep our family income. 3 weeks left until we have nothing. I am beyond upset with all this.

Seriously. We have all come so so far - abandoned everything to be here. Overcame every hurdle, jumped through every hoop. My husband and I have literally spent every dime of our savings just to be here and are literally down to our last dollars. My mind is racing for a solution. Feeling helpless.

What I don’t understand is why the cases cannot be processed by own home state. You know? If layoffs are inevitable at USCIS, why can’t the work load be distributed to the applicants home state for the remaining process? Especially for those of us in the home stretch. I’m seriously grasping at straws here.
