When you enter the uscis page and verify the case, it tells you when it was received, in my case it says that they received my forms on December 13 but in the number of I485 it says that the payment was received on January 9, proof  to see with the number of the i765 to see what date it shows you

Really?? Well here's another reason to talk to them again and tell this to the ombudsman.. they are unreal.

what kind of date ? i though you only need add your name and A number on photos

This is ok considering your receive date is Dec 13th( asssuming you had mailed your application around that date) but they did not process the  biometric fee until Jan 9th

Just the same day I sent the authorization to the congresswoman, I called and my case was already in the system and I sent her an email informing that the problem was already solved.  with the ombudsman they had my case and they kept sending me an answer but they never did, I don't know if they worked in silence.

I see... Yeah could be that they did something. As you can see having that date and not the date they actually put it in the system isn't done automatically

Yeah it looks like her case even though received on Dec 13th was not entered into the system until Jan 13th. That is such a bad system.

Both of our packets were delivered on dec 13th.. then why does my case say received in January? I am honestly beyond frustrated with their incompetence. And to think they just cashed a check for $1,225 for this "service".

Yeah its a lost cause working for USCIS. So your I-485 was accepted but they returned your I-131. is that correct ?

Yes as well as my I-765... so I assume for some inexplicable reason my forms were separated. We attached a table of contents and the check even said it's for all 3... not sure what to think anymore. Just stupidity or laziness? Spite for another government employee? Anything is possible
