I used to get excited to see the “your latest estimated approval date” emails as it seemed like the dates were getting nearer and nearer. Quite the opposite these days. Very frustrating.

It is. Meanwhile it went after the date it gave me when we filed...

I thought they were still working on paid services.   If that is true, the work authorization and AP shouldn’t be pushed back.     Right?

Do you mean you’re after the original expected date? If so, I think I am too. I think this site gave me beginning of April.

And we can’t even call them about because the dates given here are only historically based.

Right. They are still working on approvals. However, much like everything else in the country, it has slowed considerably (probably due to many factors involving manpower and resources). So yeah, they are still approving. Unfortunately, because of COVID, it seems to be at a snails pace.

So I faxed everything for the expedite request earlier. Wrote a heart breaking letter and I hope that whoever gets my case will fall for it 😂 we'll see. It will probably take a while. I guess they receive a lot of expedite requests these days

Anyone have a Pulse on how long the EAD/AP are taking. It says 4.2 Months but not sure if that is accurate. Looking to travel around christmas (if we even can) to brazil to see family around christmas. With the cost of flights lower than usual may make travel arrangements soon but worried about possibly not having EAD/AP card by then.

Looks like the interview was waived for me. It should have happened yesterday 🥳

The best estimate anyone has at this point is the one VJ provide if you have a timeline completed. These estimates are based on the timeline averages of other VJ members. They seem to project later and later approval dates as the Covid19 situation drags on. You'll have to remember that those are estimated and no one really knows. The common wisdom on this site though, is not to make any final arrangement or purchases until you have the required USCIS documents in hand.

YES!!! Congratulations!!! This makes me smile from ear to ear. Amazing news to start my morning. 🙂😀  What a relief for you after no doubt what was a really disappointing day yesterday not going to the interview as you should have been.

Keep us posted on the steps from here to when you have that green card in your hand!!  Wahooo!!! 💫💫💫

Thanks @Zsazsa @Letspaintcookies @Meg101 ! Hopefully this trickle of interview-waived approvals is going to ramp up and the good news keeps rolling in! :)  Fingers crossed for everyone else still waiting! 🤞

We got our stimulus check yesterday too so I felt like that was my consolation prize - think this is better! I've been putting my various status updates in the comments section of my AOS timeline. Will keep on doing that & updating you guys as I see things change/happen. And when I have the card in hand. I'm way more excited than I should be given everything is still on lockdown so I can't get much use out a green card at the moment 😆 But it at least feels like a more proper legal status and I feel more secure with it. Now to make sure we compile evidence going forward for the ROC interview that I imagine will not be waived.
