Let's hope for the best! I already have an idea on the reason of our RFIE and it is already ready lol I just hope I am right so I can send it immediately. When did you find out that you have RFIE?

I found out using the app. Mine got delivered today, as my husband said, mail from them always arrives on a Monday for us.

I cannot believe the RFIE is for a copy of birth certificate. First I don't sign the AP and have to send that back and Now I made such a silly mistake? Arghh! Haha

Easy to fix though!

Must be haha that's funny.

So the applicant is the US citizen right? Because it says applicants BC is needed which makes sense as I am sure I put mine in. I thought we didn't need to if we added a copy of his passport.

We're doing it now to send too. Is yours going to Missouri?

The applicant is the non-US Citizen. I sent it through Express, paid $26 but they should receive it tomorrow.

In case somebody goes through the same thing;

I got my EAD combo card rather fast (It took about 7-8 weeks from the filing) but they printed the wrong gender on it. So I had to mail the card back to the NBC with a letter and evidence of my actual gender.

It took about a week for them to notify me they got the letter and the status changed to “Card was received By USCIS Along with my letter”

I hope this moves quicker than it will take to get my Green Card, or else none of this matters.

Best wishes to all and stay home!

New update, so I had an AOS interview for a client today and it was just cancelled. It was originally slated for 2pm pacific time. Seems like some interviews are already being cancelled until further notice. I was there yesterday and the interviews did go through, but the officers were all on edge joking about whether they even be coming into work or not. I talked with an officer and they were all given laptops including the clerks, and seems they will be working remotely. This was at the Los Angeles field office by the way, but I can't imagine that a federal agency would deviate too much from other offices.

Mine is still good.

Let's all not forget that these are just estimates based on what VJ members entered in their timelines. Helpful but not official. Maybe tomorrow there will be a bunch of approvals for VJ members and everything will change again.

Ooooooh that would be so perfect. To be quite honest - all I’m after right now is the EAD. I am perfectly fine waiting for an interview. As long as I can get my EAD soon, I’ll be a happy girl.

I know it’s horrible for everyone whose interview/biometrics/oath ceremony got cancelled due to all USCIS offices closing temporarily and I feel for you.

But I think this might speed up processing of applications because more officers are assigned to applications since they can’t conduct interviews so it frees them up to work on cases.

Anyone else agree or am I just trying too hard to find a silver lining? 😭😂
