Hello everyone, first time posting.

I recently went in for my biometrics for I-485 and EAD this week. However, I just received another biometrics appointment for I-131 to go in 2 weeks.
I have never heard of anyone going in for their biometrics twice before. I applied for I-485, EAD and AP(combo card) all together. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thank you in advance for your responses!

Yess, new opportunity that I am really excited for :)

But because of the virus my start date was already pushed back a week 😕

My status for AP says that too, but my EAD status is "Fingerprint Review was Completed." Since it's a combo card sometimes the AP doesn't really update as frequently because the EAD is kind of the "main" benefit.

Ah okay. My EAD status is 'Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken'. So I have a long way to go :) Thanks for the information!

Hopefully not too much longer. I’m saying that for all of us! I think we are all getting anxious as we near the end of this crazy administrative journey. 🙂

Got that update finally for AP saying “Case was Updated to Show Fingerprints Were Taken.” Funnily enough my EAD status went to that too, it used to be “Fingerprint Review Was Completed.” Hope it’s a good sign, maybe it means they matched up both cases to the same person finally!

@Letspaintcookies any updates for you for AP?

Alright folks, need some input here.

We got an RFIE for proof of income.

I didn't include any proof of income aside from my tax returns because I have a joint sponsor, so I didn't think it was required. My income meets the requirement but it's a new job and not permanent yet, so we're using a joint sponsor to be safe. I plan to fill out a new I-864 for myself (as I've since filed 2019 taxes) and resubmit with appropriate supporting docs. Ok. Simple enough.

But they also want proof of income for my joint sponsor. I didn't include W2s or anything because we sent the tax transcript. My understanding was the transcript trumps supporting documents? My joint sponsor's income is well over the income requirement and has several income sources aside from principle employment (which is enough to qualify on its own). In order to simplify, can we just send the W2 and employment letter or do we need to hunt down "all supporting tax documents" to go along with the tax transcript?

The last bullet point contradicts the second, saying the documents submitted for the joint sponsor's I-864 does not show income that meets or exceeds the poverty guidelines based on household size. The previous bullet point says "income listed is an amount considered to be sufficient". Again, we submitted a tax transcript which shows enough income. Household size was listed as 3 (joint sponsor, their spouse, and the immigrant).

what?

Did you send payslips? Sounds like that might be what they want from both you and sponsor alongside the tax info.

I cannot do anything but to wait lol and besides I can do an e-request on 26th if it doesn't come to our mailbox. I waited for 5 months on our k1 process to get approved, this is nothing :)

You're lucky, we waited 9.5!

Yeah same date for us, just wish I knew what it was for so we could prepare. It'll suck if it needs to be something like a document we have to go out on public for at my husband had lung cancer so we have to be extra cautious. Hoping it'll be a tax thing or something

Let's hope for the best! I already have an idea on the reason of our RFIE and it is already ready lol I just hope I am right so I can send it immediately. When did you find out that you have RFIE?
