Thanks! but..
I was just at a DC thread and found out it takes 7plus months from "ready to schedule" to the actual appointment😂

Oh well, as long as I get EAD/AP I'll survive...😅

That’s totally my thoughts. Everything else can wait - I just have to work! Hahaha

Thanks y'all for the birthday wishes 😊 seems like USCIS didn't had me on their birthday calendar. I didn't even got that weird fingerprints taken for AP update 😂

I think that means you can officially ‘uninvite’ them to your birthday party. 😂😂

I didn't get that either! I was desperate for any message but looks like USCIS isn't desperate for me hahaha

Update: We received the interview notice in the mail.
It is in Chicago surprisingly enough on tax day, April 15.
Crazy excited and happy. I assume I, meaning the petitioner, should bring 2019 Taxes or at least what we mailed off.
(not sure the transcripts will be done by than). No mention of the new form for public charge so I wonder if we should fill it out just in case.

Thanks everyone for all the support and hope all of you are enjoying the weekend !

Now I want my interview letter too! If Chicago can hurry up than New Orleans should be able to do the same 😂

Nah you don't need to bring that new form and all the stuff that goes along with it since we all filed before February 24th

Hi peeps,

I finally got my combo card (it’s had been sitting at the lease office since 02/26 but I didn’t know it was there until yesterday’s status update)

The thing is, there’s a typo on the card (gender F instead of M). We still don’t know who made the mistake, but I understand that I have to go through the whole application again regardless, and it could take months until I get it fixed.

This screws up my family reunion in May, I’m really pissed.

Sorry, that is ridiculous.
I’m not to happy either. I notice our interview date is on a day and time that our local office is closed. I mean seriously, I get mistakes happen but sometimes they effect our lives and I don’t feel they care.

I put up a post on VJ as I’m not sure what the heck we do now. Honestly without VJ, I’d be lost.
Im assuming it needs to be rescheduled.
I feel your pain.
Hope you get it resolved quickly.

I hate that you try to do everything by the book than have to run around and fix errors that were not even caused by us.
Plus. I see so many still waiting on any approval and my heart goes out to them.
Super frustrating.
Keep us posted.

Oh noooooo, I would think that you could just visit your local USCIS office to have it rectified. I would not think that you have to go through the whole process because THEY made a mistake.

Hey! My local office says it is only open 10am-12pm Monday to Thursday only. But when I had my biometrics appointment it was scheduled for 3pm. I just turned up and the place was completely empty besides the woman who did it for me but they saw me as planned.

I would personally just go to the interview as planned on the day and time the letter is showing. If they have made a mistake they will reschedule you but although it’s easier said than done, try not to stress.

If it would make you feel better, maybe try emailing or calling just to confirm you should show up on that day. 🙂

best of luck with your interview!! 🌈🦋💓
