Sorry to hear that. Usually they approve when there are issues with regards to health. Surprised by the denial

Right?! Wasn’t MY health per se. that’s the way it goes. I tried. I doubt arguing with them will help any 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not devastated, just have to wait like the lot of us. Proud to do so. Still, feeling privileged to have come this far!

We just received another update just now. It says on Ryan’s I485 is “Ready to Schedule Interview”.
Does this mean our file now goes to our local field office and we wait?
We are out of Chicago and the wait times there are very long.
Either way, Happy to be moving along in the process and wishing that all of you receive your approvals soon as well.
Have a great weekend !

Hi everyone. 🙂

Woke up to an email update saying action taken on my case. I assumed it would be to do with my EAD or AP. But my case has been scheduled for interview!!! Now it’s time to wait for the letter in the mail to find out the date and get my booty in gear to find some sort of evidence to take with us!!!

Brief Timeline:

Spokane USCIS office, Washington State

Sent AOS application on 01/03 - non expedite

NOA1 received in the mail on 01/16

Biometrics on 02/04

Case changed to ready on 02/28

Interview has been scheduled status: 03/03

so shocked to see this after only exactly 2 months from my filing date! 🤯

Wishing everyone else a smooth and speedy process.

All the best 🌈

Butter my butt and call me a biscuit! This is amazing 🎉🎉 you mentioned that Spokane is fast but this is faster than fast 😁😁 congratulations. Guess you don't care about any changes to EAD/ AP anymore 😂

Thank you!  🙂

I know! 😂 I really did expect it to be an update for EAD/AP. I had to do a double take when I saw it said for my I-485. So crazy! And I’m so unprepared so the excitement is gradually turning to panic 😂😥

I’ve been seeing people get their letter around a week after getting that notification, so I’ll update with when mine is, when i receive it. We were supposed to take a trip to Seattle for a week or so for his Grandma’s 80th but may have to hold off now. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I hope others get their notifications soon too but I also realise we are so, so early in the process still that even news at a snails pace is better than hearing crickets or getting a denial.

Good patient vibes to everyone ❤️

Hi quick question! My fiancé is still waiting for his interview. I’ve extended his application twice now.. but this time it was sent with a tracking.. well anyways. My question is: when my fiancé goes to get his medical report will be get it that same day, get mailed to the embassy or mailed to him? He’s going to Frankfurt for his interview. Thank you!

You're in the complete wrong place to ask this question. There is a whole topic for K1 Visas and also a european sub-forum. Take your time and get familiar with it 😊 the doc in Germany will mail the results to the consulate in Frankfurt.
