EAD Expedite request has been assigned to an officer. Going to fax over proof tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Awesome. I really hope that they'll approve it. Your circumstance should qualify for it.

I really, truly appreciate your optimism. I know, the wait is long and no one wants to hear of someone else “jumping the line” that’s not my intention - at all. I respect the process and I understand the rules that are in place. Just hoping to get the chance to be able to lessen the burden at this point. I trust that your good vibes will come back to you 3 fold. Thank you!

Today we received an update on I765 for employment and says as of February 27, 2020 “New Card is being Produced”

We did not do an expedite and received the update today. He never had a card prior.
I highly doubt EAD was approved this quick and shouldn’t it say “Case was Approved”.
Can anyone provide any feedback ?

Congratulations! I got the same update last week. Status changed to “Card was mailed to me” a couple days after. Then AP changed to “Case was Approved”. And I got 2 NOAs on hard paper on Monday (EAD one says I will be receiving a combo card)

Still waiting for the card.

Can anyone tell me about expediting? Do you have to pay more or just fill out a form with evidence?

Basically, my husband has been battling cancer since last spring. He's been having chemo since Nov and he hasn't been able to work during the treatment. Disability payments now over so things are about to get tougher.

I'd rather be home looking after him but we need the money. We're being processed by RI so it'll probably be quicker than most but I want to see if it's worth doing

Hi! I just started the expediting process. No cost. Just need evidence. Based on the information you shared with me here - sounds like you would qualify. If it were up to me, I mean. I called and submitted a request over the phone on Thursday. On Friday I received that it was “accepted”. Not approved, just accepted. Late last night I received an email asking for evidence. Faxed my evidence off just a few minutes ago.

Also, we are in RI, too!!

google EAD expedite process. Will give you the scenarios that qualify as well as the number to call.

best of luck

Hey everyone! 🙂

I woke up this morning to an email saying action has been taken on my case. Logged into the account to find that my case is now ready to be scheduled for interview.

Sent application on 01/03

Biometrics on 02/04

We did not expedite. My local office is Spokane,WA which I know has super quick processing times but this has really surprised me.

Excited mixed with a little freaking out as im not at all prepared for the interview stage!!

Been having some difficulty and big delays changing my SSN to my new married name,  opening joint bank account with my husband etc. So at the moment we don’t have a lot of ‘evidence’ but I’m still absolutely buzzing for this positive news.

I hope y’all are soon to follow!! ❤️🤩🌈

Congrats! I sent my app the same day and I also got the same update today.

Yeah, because I have no govt ID in my married name we've had to do everything in my maiden name with regards to joint accounts, health insurance, and suchlike. As long as you have a SSN you should be able to get things set up, even if the name isn't what you'd like to use right now. I'm under the impression that as soon as I get the EAD/AP combo card I should be able to get my name changed with the SSA and get my name changed everywhere else too. Lots of fun :)

Incidentally, here's a timeline update for myself (I'm watching this thread and the Dec filers because we kind of crossed a month in our application)

Filed: Dec 20 2019

NOA: Jan 2 2020

Biometrics: Jan 30 2020

Status updated to ready to schedule interview: Feb 28 2020

Here's hoping my EAD/AP cases tick over soon like a lot of people have been seeing. 🤞
