Thank you! Does anyone know how long it takes roughly after the appointment.

I have no idea what to expect

It’s your biometrics, right? Completely depends on your individual case and your local office! If you go to the processing times section on VJ you can look at the average processing times from biometrics to interview for your local office (the one where you have your bio appointment) hope this helps :)

Thank you for the information. When I get home I’ll have to peek at the paper again. I am assuming it’s biometrics because I haven’t had those yet. Still, I appreciate the information!

I’m so sorry. I don’t know how I missed that. Thank you again. I’m not as incompetent as I just appeared - promise! 😂😂 haha

We're being processed in RI too! We're actually in MA (the Cape) but I guess RI office is closer to us than the Boston office. Biometrics app for us is Monday.

Oh that’s fantastic. I am going to follow your timeline as I am assuming that they will be very similar!! Nice to “meet” you! 😌

Quick question....

does my SSN get issued with my EAD? I went to the SSN office a few weeks back after I submitted my EAD and they would not process as they said that they can see my “application in process”. So, is it fair to assume that my SSN will be issued the same time as my EAD?

We almost forget our biometrics today! We didn't remember until 2 hours before. It was a long weekend I guess. Luckily we remembered though and my wife is on the way there now

I am so glad you remembered in time!!

We had the biometrics today I. Cranston RI. Appointment was 3pm, we turned up at 2pm and they saw us early. Must have had lunch 1-2 because it was empty but filled up about ten minutes later. It doesn't matter how you dress, they literally take a picture and do your fingerprints and off you go. If you changed your name, bring marriage license and passport. Dude seemed so annoyed at the amount of people who had no proof of the name change. I kept my surname to make the process easier and it paid off in this case 😆

That’s awesome. I was hoping you’d update about your experience. I’ll be attending Cranston, too! Were they able to advise you on any sort of timeline or do they only concern themselves with fingerprints and pic?
